FAMILY CARE

Care for Every Generation of Your Family
Individualized, age-appropriate chiropractic and musculoskeletal care for children, teenagers, adults, parents, and older family members.
Our goal is to become a trusted resource your family can contact when a new injury, activity-related concern, or movement problem develops.
CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR EVERY STAGE OF LIFE
A Practice Built Around Families
Families come to our office for many reasons.
Some first visit because of:
-
A sports injury
-
Workstation-related discomfort
-
Pregnancy or postpartum concerns
-
An auto accident
-
A work injury
-
A new concern affecting a child or parent
-
Difficulty remaining active
Treatment Adapted to the Individual
Care is based on age, health history, examination findings, comfort, activities, and goals. Not every family member receives the same treatment or services.
Every member of a family has different needs. Our approach is individualized based on age, activity level, symptoms, health history and goals, with techniques adapted appropriately for each patient.
Techniques are selected and modified based on the patient's age, comfort and clinical needs. Care for younger patients generally uses substantially less force than techniques commonly used with adults.
ADULTS AND PARENTS
Adults commonly visit us for:
-
Neck and back complaints
-
Desk and technology-related strain
-
Exercise injuries
-
Shoulder, hip, or extremity concerns
-
Reduced mobility
-
Recurrent symptoms related to work or family demands
-
Difficulty keeping up with children or activities
-
Return to exercise after time away
CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS
Age-Appropriate Evaluation and Care
Children and teenagers are not simply smaller adults.
Their evaluation and care should consider:
-
Growth and development
-
Communication and comfort
-
School and study demands
-
Sports and activities
-
Previous injuries
-
Family involvement
-
Age-appropriate treatment options
We commonly evaluate:
-
Sports injuries
-
Activity-related muscle and joint complaints
-
Neck and back discomfort
-
Extremity complaints
-
Mobility limitations
-
Overuse injuries
-
Symptoms associated with backpacks, studying, or prolonged device use
Treatment is recommended only when the examination indicates that chiropractic or musculoskeletal care may be appropriate.
For children and teens, care is adapted to their age, size and individual needs. Families may seek care for musculoskeletal discomfort, activity-related injuries, mobility concerns or other problems involving the joints and muscles.
YOUTH ATHLETES
Young athletes may experience:
-
Rapid growth
-
High training volume
-
Repetitive activity
-
Limited recovery time
-
Pressure to return quickly
-
Overlapping school and sport demands
Our sports-oriented doctors consider the injury, the athlete’s development, and realistic return-to-activity goals.
OLDER ADULTS
Our doctors also work with older adults who want to:
-
Maintain mobility
-
Continue walking or exercising
-
Address joint or muscle complaints
-
Improve confidence with daily movement
-
Remain involved in family and recreational activities
Treatment techniques are adapted according to health history, examination findings, bone health, comfort, and patient preference.
